In between the lingering Winter and early Summer we had a snippet of Spring this year. It felt like it lasted for about five minutes! And I must admit that it played havoc with the scheduling for my Spring Mini Sessions. Originally planned for one day (which turned out to be not as Springlike as hoped), I wanted to give everyone the option of going ahead, delaying a little bit, or of switching to Summer Mini Sessions (more on those later). So taken over two weekends, here are some of my favourite portraits and moments.
And although we managed to find some blossom, of course it's never about the flowers. It's about the relationships, the smiles, the way you look at each other or hold each other or the way you laugh. It was lovely this year to photograph wider generations together too. Mini sessions are suitable for up to five people and who you bring along is entirely up to you!
Mini sessions are 20 minutes long and usually start off with your choice of a group portrait or siblings portrait - whatever you'd particularly like me to capture for you. After that there's time to play and that's when I'll capture documentary moments and little details for you. We might even have time for a special outfit change too!
I'm planning a Summer Mini Sessions day in August. See you there? The Spring sessions sold out within hours so please don't miss out. Sign up to the mailing list to get priority booking.
